A species of shrub that can be seen throughout the Mediterranean area, and the Montes de Toledo are no less, is the Retama.
It is a plant with fine, highly branched stems, with branches that come out from their base, and that gives the impression of having no leaves.
Its flowers are small, and can be of varied colors, although the predominant ones in the area are yellow ones.
