In just 30 minutes from the Finca los Pájaros Rural House, we can reach the municipality of La Puebla de Montalbán. It is a beautiful town that shows various contrasts in its landscape, since on one side it shows the lush typical of the Tagus valley, full of irrigated crops, while on the other the arid plateau shows an ocher mantle of cereals, as well as land limestone and sandy.
This town also exhibits different monuments worth seeing, most of them starting from its Plaza Mayor. We can visit buildings such as the Palace of the Dukes of Osuna, the church of Our Lady of Peace, the monastery of Our Lady of the Conception, the convent of the Franciscan Fathers, the Hermitage of the Virgen de la Soledad, or that of Christ of the charity.
But if there is something that represents La Puebla de Montalbán, it is if you doubt its relationship with the famous work of Fernando de Rojas, born in the town; «La Celestina».Here we will find a Celestina Museum, and annually there are interesting days in which the town dresses up and proudly welcomes all visitors.
