A little less than 60 kilometers from the Finca los Pájaros Rural House we will find this excellently preserved castle, which stands out for its stone engraving of a rampant lion on the one known as the Torre del Homenaje. This is the heraldic shield of the Silva, counts of Cifuentes, who built the castle in the 15th century.
Its structure suggests that its construction was carried out with more residential than defensive use in mind, and its large patio stands out.
Although the castle is privately owned, access to its interior is free. To get to it we enter the town of the same name, and once we pass the cemetery we will arrive through a forest track in a pine forest.
