This lizard can reach a dimension of about 15 cmts. of body, being its tail up to twice this size, and has striking green and bluish colors. These colors can become more intense in a time of heat.
It usually lives in wet deciduous forests and pine trees, or in places close to river banks and streams, although they also often take refuge in rock walls by taking advantage of the holes to hide.
It’s not hard to find him in the Montes de Toledo.
