The Tavera Hospital Museum collects excellent paintings by El Greco and other painters of great value, such as: Ribera, Berruguete, Lucas Jordán, Tintoretto, Tristán, Canaletto, Sánchez Coello, etc. In addition, other objects such as tapestries, furniture, and a magnificent library are exhibited. Special mention should be made of its famous library that contains an outstanding collection of ceramic jars from Talavera and Puente del Arzobispo.
It can be visited from Monday to Saturday and holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Closed on December 25 and January 1.
