Continuing with the routes of “Senderos de Toledo”, today we go with the call “of the Visigoth Past”. This route begins in Casalgordo, a district just 3 kilometers from Sonseca, and about 50 kilometers from Finca los Pájaros Rural House. So we will get there in just three quarters of an hour by car.
We find ourselves with a circular route, of just over 17 kilometers, of medium difficulty, and in which extensive cultivated plains predominate in the surroundings of Casalgordo, and the foothills of the Montes de Toledo, where the Mediterranean forest abounds.
In addition to the natural environment, the Church of Casalgordo, San Pedro de la Mata, the Finca de la Estrella, the Roman Valhermoso Dam, and the Paraje la Mezquitilla are of interest.
